Wet chemical methods are an integral part of modern analytical labs. Many of the regulatory bodies, such as the US EPA, recommend wet chemical methods like colorimetry, titrimetry, and flow analysis, as well as measurement methods like pH, conductivity, and ion selective electrodes for drinking water and wastewater applications. Why? Because wet chemical methods are proven and modern instrumentation often cannot determine results that many specific wet chemical tests provide. However, these traditional wet chemical methods are tedious, time-consuming, and consume large volumes of samples and reagents.
In this webinar we will provide an overview of US EPA recommended automated wet chemical methods for drinking water and wastewater and discuss several application examples that highlight the benefits of transferring traditional wet chemical methods to the integrated discrete analyzer.
